The Best PlayStation 4 Games of 2020 (and why I didn’t play them)
“The best games of 2020” is a subjective thing, of course. It’s no surprise then that I wasn’t compelled to play most of them. But why, really, didn’t I play 2020’s best video games?
In this video I review the Metacritic list of the best PlayStation 4 video games of 2020. Along the way, I offer some thoughts on the few games I did play as well as plenty of thoughts on the games I didn’t play. And that, my friends, is why I’ll never be a video game journalist.
Mentioned:
- Spelunky book review
- How to Play Doom Eternal (in 8 Steps)
- Carrion is really good, possibly Game of the Year 2020
- The full Metacritic PS4 2020 list
- Games include: Spelunky 2, DOOM Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, Pistol Whip, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, Dreams, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, The Last of Us Part II, and Persona 5 Royal
